Ps Benjamin Widjaja is the Senior Pastor of Rhema Ministries, Sunter Jakarta. He is one of the five board members of the Assembly of God Indonesia until his recent retirement in 2007. Whilst he was a board member, Ps Benjamin served as the Mission Director and General Treasurer of the Assembly. Ps Benjamin has been in ministry in excess of 40 years and is a respected minister of the AOG community.

Ps Benjamin was the founder of Rhema Ministries and continues to actively participate in the day to day running of the church. With his church mission explicitly stated as “Congregation with a heart for mission,” Ps Benjamin has been involved in Dehes Ministries right from the very beginning. His priceless guidance and advice have been instrumental in the development, growth and success of Dehes Ministries throughout the past 13 years.

Ps Benjamin has traveled to Katingan Central Kalimantan on many occasions and besides preaching the Gospel, he has also embraced the role of a father to the younger ministers who are serving in the region. Undoubtedly, his wise counsel has touched and encouraged the hearts of these servants of God.

Rhema Ministries works closely with Dehes Ministries through the close friendship between Ps Benjamin and Evangelist Sebastian. Dehes Ministries is privileged to be working in partnership with Rhema Ministries.

Ps Benjamin resides in Jakarta with his wife and family.

My pastor and mentor Ps Benjamin Widjaja went home to be with our Lord in December 2008. I have known Pa Ben for 34 years and I will miss him sorely.
